The Russian army fired 30 sea-, air- and ground-launched missiles at Ukraine overnight. The Ukrainian defence forces destroyed 29 of them.

Russia attacked Ukraine in several waves, from 21:00 on Wednesday to 5:30 on Thursday, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy has said on Telegram.

"Twenty-two Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles were fired from strategic aviation aircraft: two Tu-160s and eight Tu-95s. Six Kalibr cruise missiles were fired from ships in the Black Sea. As well as two Iskander-K cruise missiles from ground-based operational and tactical missile systems," Zaluzhnyy said.

Two Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs and two reconnaissance UAVs of the operational and tactical level were also shot down.

The hits were reported in Odesa and Khmelnytskyy Region. In Odesa, an industrial infrastructure facility was damaged, killing one person and injuring two. The Southern Operational Command noted that air defence systems had shot down all eight cruise missiles and recalled that even if they were successfully shot down, the debris posed a threat as it fell. The damage was caused by the wreckage of missiles shot down over land. The victims were security guards who were injured.

In Kyiv and the region, air defence systems shot down all enemy targets. Debris damaged yards, houses, cars, and a garage cooperative.

According to the regional military administration, the attack on Odesa took place late in the evening, and the attack on Khmelnytskyy Region in the morning.
