Over the day, Russia launched five missile strikes on the cities of Bakhmut and Kherson using S-300 air defence systems, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
Russians also carried out 32 air strikes and fired more than 40 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.
There were 25 combat engagements in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka sectors, with Bakhmut and Maryinka remaining in the epicentre of fighting.
Meanwhile, the Defence Forces aviation carried out 14 strikes on the clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment, five of which targeted anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed two Orlan-10 reconnaissance UAVs.
Missile and artillery units hit a command post, six areas of manpower concentration, two ammunition depots, two fuel and lubricant depots, an artillery unit at a firing position, two air defence facilities and two other important targets.
