On the night of 19 May, the Russian military attacked Ukraine from different directions: north, south-west and from the Black Sea, Yuriy Ihnat, spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, has told the telethon.
"Not all targets were shot down today, but the work of air defence can still be considered successful because the enemy attacked from different directions: from ships in the Black Sea, as well as by Shaheds from the north and south-west," he said.
According to Ihnat, Russia used a small number of missiles that night, but still launched six Kalibr missiles and 22 attack drones.
The air defence units of the operational commands Centre, West and South destroyed three cruise missiles and 16 attack drones which Russia launched on the night of 19 April.
