This afternoon, the Russians once again attacked Kherson Region from aircraft. A bakery in Beryslav was hit, private houses in Kozatske village and a school building in Nova Kakhovka were damaged. There are dead and wounded, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, has said on Telegram.
Two hits by guided bombs were recorded in Boryslav. Two men, aged 57 and 20, were lightly injured in the attack. The Russian army also fired mortars at the city, injuring a local resident. She is currently being treated by medics.
"Enemy aircraft also harassed Kozatske of the Novokakhovka community. The peaceful village was hit by three guided aerial bombs. Residential buildings were damaged as a result of enemy strikes," said Prokudin.
The Nova Kakhovka city military administration clarified that today at about 11:10 a.m. the Russians dropped four guided aerial bombs, three of them on Kozatske and one on Nova Kakhovka. There were numerous destructions and casualties.
"One of the bombs fell in the area of secondary school No. 3 of the Nova Kakhovka city council. At least three private houses were destroyed. Unfortunately, there are victims. It is also known that a 70-year-old man was killed," the military administration said.
Over the past day, Russians fired 61 times at Kherson Region, firing 309 shells from mortars, artillery, tanks and UAVs. One person was killed and five others were wounded in the attacks.
