Tetyana Plachkova, a member of the now disbanded pro-Russian Opposition Platform-For Life party, has tendered her resignation letter.
A draft resolution to this effect was registered with parliament today.
Plachkova was elected to parliament as No 31 on the party's ticket. She is a member of the parliamentary committee on public administration, local government and urban construction. She left the Opposition Platform-For Life faction in March 2022.
In 2020, Plachkova was a member of the OPFL delegation led by Viktor Medvedchuk and met members of the Russian Duma in the Kremlin. Before the full-scale war, she talked about cooperation with Russia and the countries of the former Soviet Union, but afterwards she changed her public rhetoric to pro-European.
