Greece will take part in the training of Ukrainian pilots on F-16s, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said at a press conference with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Other agreements with Greece include:

- Greek defence support. "Our teams are working on the relevant details," Zelenskyy added.

- Greek companies are ready to participate in the transport of Ukrainian grain, and the Ukrainian side, according to the president, is counting on it. By the way, Mitsotakis said at the press conference that 50% of Ukrainian grain is exported by Greek ships and the Grain Initiative should be resumed as soon as possible.

- Zelenskyy and Mitsotakis discussed a programme of Greek patronage over specific regions. In particular, the country will oversee the restoration of Odesa.

"Greece has joined the Group of Seven security guarantees. We will continue this work at the bilateral level to make the format of security guarantees a model for other states," Zelenskyy added.

The president also said he was preparing for a summit with the Balkan states.

The Greek prime minister added that his country supports all Western sanctions against Russia, no matter what it costs Greece, and will continue to support Ukraine, in particular, in its accession to the EU and NATO.

Following the meeting, the parties signed a Joint Declaration on Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration.

The document states that, in particular, "the Hellenic Republic supports Ukraine's accession to NATO membership when Allies agree and the conditions are met, as set out in the Vilnius NATO Summit Declaration".
