As a result of Russian missile strike on a drama theatre in the centre of Chernihiv 181 people are injured, seven of them were killed, reported the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration Dmytro Bryzhynsky, according to Suspilne.
41 people are in hospital, including four in serious condition. He also noted that 10 administrative buildings and 53 residential buildings were damaged as a result of the missile strike. In residential buildings, 398 apartments were damaged: windows, doors, and ceilings were destroyed.
Approximately 6,500 square meters of roofs were destroyed. According to him, roofing repairs are a priority as autumn and the rainy season approach.
On Saturday, 19 August, Russians fired a ballistic missile at Chernihiv. Seven people have been reported dead, one child among them. A three-day mourning period was announced in the city.
