At around four in the morning, the Russian military dropped two guided bombs on a kindergarten and residential buildings in Kherson, reported the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin via Telegram.
According to Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson Military Administration, the morning air strike caused a fire in a preschool in the Korabelnyy district. Three units of specialised equipment and 14 rescuers were involved in extinguishing the fire.
Six people were wounded as a result of the enemy shelling. Prokudin clarified that a 22-year-old man was taken to a medical facility, while the others were treated by doctors on the spot.
Over the past day, the enemy fired at Kherson city territorial community 13 times and used 78 shells. Damage was recorded in Kherson, Sadove and Komyshany.
One person died as a result of hostile shelling, four more civilians sustained injuries of varying severity.
Last night the Russian military shelled Mykolayivka village in Kherson Region. A 66-year-old local resident was wounded.
