The spokesman for the General Staff, Andriy Kovalev, said that Ukrainian troops are progressing in the direction of Novoprokopivka on the southern front, Military Media Center reports.
"In the direction of Novodanylivka - Novoprokopivka, we have succeeded, are gaining foothold on the achieved positions, firing on the identified enemy targets," the spokesman said.
Ukrainian defenders eliminated 470 occupants yesterday. They also destroyed 23 tanks and the same number of artillery systems.
The United States has ordered AMRAAM missiles for Ukraine from an American company. The contract worth $192mn was signed until 29 November, 2024. AMRAAMs are guided missiles that are the main weapon for American fighter jets. They have a range of 55 to 160 km, depending on the modification.
