According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, last night, during a massive Russian attack near the port of Izmail, Russian "Shaheds" fell and detonated on the territory of Romania, has said Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleh Nikolenko.

"This is yet another confirmation that Russian missile terror poses a huge threat not only to the security of Ukraine, but also to the security of neighbouring countries, including NATO member states," he wrote on Facebook.

The Foreign Ministry calls on its partners to speed up the provision of additional modern missile and air defence systems to Ukraine, as well as combat aircraft that will strengthen the protection of the infrastructure of Ukraine and neighboring countries.

On the night of 4 September, Russians attacked Odesa and Dnipro regions with attack drones from the southern and southeastern directions (Cape Chauda, Crimea, and Prymorsko-Akhtarsk). A total of 32 "Shaheds" were launched. Ukrainian air defence forces destroyed 23 of them.
