Andriy Ivanchuk, a member of the Ukrainian parliament of the last three convocations, has died.
"This is terrible news. Last night, Andriy Ivanchuk, a member of Parliament of Ukraine of the 7th, 8th and 9th convocations, passed away. My sincere condolences to his family and friends on his untimely death," said speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk on Facebook.
Ivanchuk was born in June 1973. He was a member of the Front for Change party and one of the deputy leaders of Fatherland.
In the 2014 snap parliamentary elections, he was elected on the list of the People's Front.
During the 9th convocation, he was a member of the Trust parliamentary group and headed the subcommittee on banking, monetary stability, interaction with the National Bank of Ukraine and protection of financial services consumers in the committee on finance, taxation and customs policy.
