Russians attack Odesa Region with Shaheds, missiles: hits to port infrastructure

The sea station in Odesa was damaged, and grain storage facilities were destroyed. A woman was wounded.

On the night of 25 September the enemy sent 19 Shahed-136/131 attack drones and two Onyx supersonic missiles to Odesa Region. This was reported on Telegram by the Southern Defence Forces.

The Russians also used 12 Kalibr missiles with complex trajectories in different regions. A submarine from the Novorossiysk Bay was used to attack from the sea in addition to the surface missile carrier.

19 Shaheds and 11 Kalibrs were shot down by air defence forces and assets. One "Kalibr" was shot down over Mykolayiv and Kirovohrad Regions, while the vast majority were in the sky over Odesa Region.

However, the enemy hit the port infrastructure: the Odesa seaport sustained significant damage, and a fire broke out in the building of the station hotel, which has not been functioning for several years. Firefighters quickly extinguished it. "Onyx destroyed grain storage facilities. There were no casualties.

As a result of the fall of debris during combat operations, warehouse buildings of one of the enterprises and a private house in the suburbs of Odesa were damaged and caught fire. Grass in open areas also caught fire. The fires were extinguished. No casualties were reported.

The blast waves smashed glass in several houses. A woman was injured and provided with medical aid.

On the night of 23 September, two Russian Onyx missiles hit a recreational area in Odesa Region. No critical damage or casualties were reported.
