On the morning of Saturday, 23 September, activists rallied near the Kyiv City State Administration to criticise the KCSA for allegedly misusing the city's budget, reports LB.ua.

The activists demand that budget funds should not be used for projects that are not currently essential, but rather should be used to support the Armed Forces. Among the participants of the rally is Kyiv activist and soldier Oleh Symoroz.

Last weekend, a rally was also held near the Kyiv City State Administration against the alleged misuse of budget funds by local authorities. The activists demanded that the money should not be spent on paving, but rather on helping the Armed Forces. One of the protesters poured red paint on the administration's sign. Similar rallies were also held in Odesa.

Earlier, the media published facts about the use of budget funds in Kyiv that raised questions among the public.

For example, the district state administration of the Dniprovskyy district of Kyiv ordered 300 leather drums for 890,000 hryvnas for shelter. On 16 June, given the public outcry and media coverage, the agreement was terminated.

Also, in the Dniprovskyy district of Kyiv, an electric frying pan was ordered for 720,000 hryvnas for a shelter in one of the lyceums. The tender was announced as "Technological equipment for the shelter of an educational institution".
