On the night of 10 September, Russians attacked Kyiv with attack drones. They attacked the city in groups from different directions.

The air defence system shot down more than 20 enemy drones. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko, reported this on Telegram.

"Debris fell in several districts of the capital. In Shevchenkivskyy district, they damaged an apartment in a block of flats. But most of the debris fell on an open, undeveloped area. Cars, trolleybus power lines, and road surfaces were damaged. As for now, we know about one victim (not life-threatening). The data of the operational report is being updated. Thank the air defence for their excellent work. Better than words, find their training camps and donate to them. Support the soldiers every day!" he wrote.

The explosions in the city were heard around 1 am. According to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko, the debris was recorded also in Solomyanskyy and Podilskyy districts. In Solomyanskyy district the debris was burning on the road, and in Podilskyy, a person was diagnosed with an acute stress reaction.

The State Emergency Service did not mention Solomianskyy district in its report on the aftermath of the attack, instead noting that in Sviatoshynskyy district the debris fell on tables and benches for camping.

In Shevchenkivskyy district a window and property were damaged on the 24th floor of a 25-story residential building when a piece of debris fell on a 24-story apartment, but there was no fire and no casualties.

In Podilskyy district cars, road signs and trolleybus lines were damaged.

The previous attempt to hit the city took place on the night of 6 September, when the Russians launched 23 air targets - two types of missiles and drones. The missiles were headed for Kyiv, but were shot down by air defence.
