Last night, the enemy attacked Ukraine with air- and ground-launched missiles and attack drones. A total of 33 enemy air targets were recorded, stated the Air Force on Telegram.
According to the report, overnight of 6 September the Russian army fired on the territory of Ukraine:
- 7 air-launched missiles of the X-101/X-555/X-5 type from 9 Tu-95ms strategic aircraft from the Engels area;
- 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile;
- 25 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs from the southeastern and southern directions (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Chauda).
Air defence was operating along the route of the missiles and drones. Anti-aircraft missile troops, fighter aircraft, mobile fire groups, and other means of destruction were repelling the air attack.
The Air Force in cooperation with the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroyed 23 enemy air targets:
- 7 X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles
- 1 Iskander-M ballistic missile;
- 15 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs.
Last night, the Russian army was attacking Izmayil district of Odesa Region with attack drones for three hours. One person was killed - an employee of an agricultural enterprise.
Also this morning, there was a combined attack with X-101/555/55 missiles and ballistic missiles on Kyiv. All enemy targets were shot down. There were no casualties or damage.
