Germany has handed over another security assistance package to Ukraine, reports the press service of the German government.
The aid package includes:
- more than 10,000 rounds of ammunition for Gepard anti-aircraft systems
- more than 8.5mn rounds of ammunition;
- 27,000 40-mm ammunition rounds;
- 32 Zetros trucks;
- Four heavy tractors with trailers for tank transportation;
- Four border guard vehicles;
- 20,000 protective goggles for soldiers;
- an armored Beaver bridge paver.
Ukraine's ambassador to Germany Oleksiy Makeyev says that hesitant military support from Western partners is the reason why the Armed Forces' counteroffensive is not moving fast enough.
