The representative of the Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Andriy Yusov, has told the national telethon that Russia lacks air defence capabilities.
According to Yusov, the strikes on military facilities in the Russian Federation indicate that it lacks air defence capabilities.
"To defend its territory, Moscow is forced to redeploy air defence systems from other areas, in particular from the Far East," he said.
Yusov also added that Russia's military and political leadership "should think about" what is more important to them - to deploy air defence systems in the temporarily occupied territories or to cover its own territory.
