Belarus has started the next stage of testing the combat readiness of its armed forces, the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Serhiy Nayev, has said on Telegram.
"In turn, we are increasing the vigilance of our border patrols in the relevant areas. We are also keeping the necessary forces and means ready to respond adequately, which are currently sufficient to perform these tasks," Nayev said.
If the threat escalates, the General Staff will deploy additional forces and means to respective areas.
As reported earlier, Belarus lures members of the Russian Wagner private military company by promising them apartments without a queue. According to the State Border Service, there are fewer than a thousand Wagner members in Belarus.
