This morning, Russians shelled two districts of Kharkiv. According to the updated data as of 12:17 p.m., the number of victims increased to two. In addition to the ten-year-old boy, a woman born in 1955 died. 29 people were injured, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported.
As of 9:47 a.m., a child was killed and 23 people were wounded. The deceased is a ten-year-old boy. One of the rockets hit the road, windows in the neighboring houses were smashed. The second rocket hit a 3-storey residential building, causing a fire, Mayor Igor Terekhov said on Telegram. According to the updated data as of 8:48 a.m., 16 civilians sought medical assistance. Later, the mayor of the city clarified that a dead child was also found under the rubble of a house.
The hits were recorded in Kyivskyy and Osnovyanskyy districts. Among the wounded is an 11-month-old baby, the head of the RMA Oleh Synyehubov reported on Telegram.
"The enemy's strikes were exclusively on the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv, in one case - on a residential building," Mayor Ihor Terekhov said on Telegram.
Currently, rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the hits, car fires, and clear the rubbles.
"Two people were rescued by the State Emergency Service. Two apartment buildings were damaged and a three-storey residential building was destroyed," said Interior Minister Klymenko.
