Oleksiy Chernyshov, CEO of Naftogaz Group, said that Ukraine continues to integrate into the European energy system as a reliable partner and a "power bank" for gas storage in underground storage facilities.
He cited data that in 9 months of 2023, despite the war and potentially related risks, the Naftogaz Group's non-resident customer portfolio grew to 148 companies.
Oleksiy Chernyshov said that as of today, 2.2bn cu.m. of natural gas of foreign customers are stored in Ukrainian underground gas storage facilities.
"Over the past day alone, we have received 14 applications from non-residents for gas injection into the customs warehouse of Ukrainian gas storage facilities. I am grateful to our international partners for this trust," wrote the Naftogaz CEO.
According to him, this proves that the principles of operation are transparent and effective.
