On 1 October, Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine LLC, a part of Naftogaz Group, received gas distribution licenses in six regions where the Regional Gas Company of fugitive oligarch Dmytro Firtash had previously lost its license, states Naftogaz Group.
"Today, the branches of Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine LLC, which are part of the Naftogaz Group, have received licenses from the National Commission for State Regulation in Energy and Utilities to operate. These are representative offices in Vinnytsya, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolayiv, Sumy and Khmelnytskyy Regions," the statement said.
Now the state-owned company has officially received the right to distribute gas to 6.6 million customers, already on the basis of 14 regional branches.
