Drones launched by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) attacked a military field camp near the Khalino airfield in Russia's Kursk Region.

LB.ua's sources in the SBU confirmed that the Service was behind the attack on the camp near the village of Postoyalye Dvory last night.

Up to 3,000 Russian troops and about 80 pieces of military equipment were stationed near the Khalino military airfield.

The exact number of Russian casualties is currently being verified, but it is clear that the impact was strong, with at least 18 hits by SBU drones having been recorded.

Throughout the night, Russians from the surrounding villages discussed the sounds of explosions on social media. At the same time, the Russian authorities reported that air defence "shot down all the drones".
