Russian troops have been shelling the cottage neighbourhoods of the city of Dnipro since the morning, mayor Borys Filatov has said on Facebook.

"Again, again, again, the f*ckers are hitting the cottage sector with rockets in Dnipro. There are dead and injured," he wrote.

Filatov noted that the military administration would later provide the official account. He also urged residents not to post photos of the aftermath on social media.

Serhiy Lysak, the head of the regional military administration, also said that one person was killed and three were injured.

"Tentatively, one person was killed. Three people were injured. We are checking the consequences of the attack. We already know about six damaged houses. More details later. I ask bloggers and media not to share any photos and comments for now! Do not help the enemy!" he wrote on Telegram.

The head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak, wrote on Telegram that the village of Obukhivka was hit and posted a photo from the impact site.

At night, the Russians launched six missile strikes on Zaporizhzhya. A multi-storey building was hit. So far, two people have been reported killed, three injured, and three more are missing.
