Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov and his Danish counterpart Troels Lund Poulsen discussed the acceleration of the transfer of F-16 fighter jets. Rustem Umerov posted this on Facebook.
"I thank the Minister of Defence of Denmark, Troels Lund Poulsen, for fruitful and constructive negotiations and a frank conversation in Kyiv. The key issue is to speed up the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine," Umerov wrote.
He noted that the parties also discussed the demining of the liberated territories, professional training of Ukrainian servicemen, cooperation on the introduction of IT in the Ukrainian army, and the provision of additional assistance.
The minister reminded that Denmark is one of the countries leading the international coalition's efforts to train pilots and support staff, maintain aircraft and supply F-16s to Ukraine.
