President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law on strengthening financial monitoring of politically exposed persons (PEPs). This is evident from the information in the draft law card posted on the Parliament's website.
On 20 October, the draft Law on Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention and Counteraction to Legalisation (Laundering) of Proceeds of Crime, Terrorist Financing and Financing of Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction" regarding PEPs was sent to the president for signature. On 26 October, the document was returned with his signature.
