An MP from the Revival of Ukraine parliamentary group, Maksym Yefimov, has announced he is leaving parliament.

"I am confident that this decision will allow me to focus on the protection of my native Kramatorsk community, entire Donetsk Region and Ukraine in general," Yefimov wrote.

In 2019, Yefimov was elected to the Verkhovna Rada of the 9th convocation as a non-partisan self-nominee in the 48th constituency (Kramatorsk, Donetsk Region). Since 6 December 2019, he has been a member of the Trust parliamentary group, and before that he was a non-factional member.

He is a member of the committee on human rights, de-occupation and reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk and Luhansk regions and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, national minorities and international relations.

In 2019, Yefimov confirmed that his associates had bought the company that owns the Parkovyy Convention and Exhibition Centre in Kyiv. According to Yefimov, the formal owner of the facility is the MP's mother.

In the summer of 2018, Yefimov confirmed reports that he was buying the Donbasenergo energy generating company.
