Ukraine does not have a so-called "social tariff" for certain categories of the population.
This was stated by Naftogaz. The company said that there are no other gas prices for all categories of the population than those indicated on the official resources of Naftogaz Group companies. "In particular, the information about the so-called 'social tariff' for the population, which allegedly sets a tariff of UAH 4 per cu.m. of gas for military families, pensioners, large families and low-income families, is not true," Naftogaz said.
The Naftogaz called this information another fraudulent scheme to obtain personal data and bank account information of Ukrainians. Naftogaz noted that it will send a corresponding appeal to law enforcement agencies to check the sources of false information.
