Russian invaders in the occupied city of Melitopol detained three minors and accused them of working for the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), exiled city mayor Ivan Fedorov has said.

"In the temporarily occupied Melitopol, the ruscists detained three minors. The children were accused of 'working for the SBU'. The propagandists are spreading a 'legend' that the boys allegedly organised several terrorist attacks. They passed on information about the movement of enemy equipment and troop bases. They also allegedly followed one of the collaborators to plant explosives in his entryway," Fedorov said.

According to the Russian allegations, two other members of "this group" were killed in an explosion of homemade explosives.

"The cynicism of the ruscists knows no bounds. Unable to overcome the resistance in the temporarily occupied territories, they are already capturing children, who, under torture, will confess to anything the enemy says. We have to free our people. And we must prevent the abuse of our children!" the mayor added.
