Parliament's agenda-setting council will determine the fate of the draft law on mobilisation on 11 January, according to the head of the Servant of the People faction, Davyd Arakhamiya.
"Today we held a meeting of the faction. We discussed the current situation and the work plan for the coming days... All decisions on the consideration of the draft laws will be made at the agenda-setting council, to which the military command and the leadership of the Ministry of Defence have been invited," Arakhamiya said on Telegram.
The MP added that there would also be updates on personnel issues in parliamentary committees.
At the same time, sources in the Servant of the People faction told LB.ua that the draft law on mobilisation is still planned to be returned to the Cabinet of Ministers for reworking on 11 January.
"Tomorrow we will reject the draft. But this is step one," the source told LB.ua.
Another MP from the faction added that "there is an agreement that the government should immediately submit a revised version of the draft law. "On Friday," the MP said.
The third source confirmed that on 11 January, parliament would return the draft law on mobilisation to the government. "It is a pity that the government has learned about it from Telegram," the MP added.
