According to Kharkiv RMA head Oleh Synyehubov, Russians fired two missiles near a hotel in the centre of Kharkiv.
"Another act of terrorism against the civilian population," he wrote.
So far, 10 people have been injured in the strike. One person is in serious condition, another was injured and is in moderate condition. Other victims are in light condition.
Among the injured are journalists from a Turkish media who were staying at the hotel.
The aftermath of the strike is ongoing, and rescuers continue to extinguish the fire.
As Synyehubov later said, the occupiers had preliminary fired S-300 missiles. The shelling damaged the building of a hotel complex, where more than 30 civilians were staying at the time of the attack. Several cars also caught fire.
As of now, 11 people have been injured, 4 of them are men aged 31 to 38, and 7 are women aged 23 to 71. Nine of the victims were taken to medical institutions. Currently, one of the victims, a 35-year-old man, is in serious condition, 8 patients are in moderate and light condition, and 2 were treated on the spot.
Later, the head of the Kharkiv RMA added that at around 22:30, the enemy launched an S-300 missile on the Kyivskyy district of Kharkiv from Belgorod.
The Prosecutor General's Office reported 13 injured people. Among them are two Turkish media journalists - a Turkish citizen and a Georgian citizen.
