French Defence Minister Sébastien Lecornu said that France would supply Ukraine with up to 50 bombs per month until the end of 2024, RBC-Ukraine reports.
According to him, from January 2024, France will provide Ukraine with about 50 bombs. The supplies will last at least until the end of the year.
Lecornu also announced an increase in the supply of artillery ammunition to 3,000 shells per month.
"In the period from February 2022 to the end of 2023, France supplied 2,000 shells per month to Ukraine, and since January - 3,000 shells per month," he said.
At the same time, he denied that the Russians had seized the initiative at the front, adding that Moscow would not win the war against Ukraine.
The minister stressed that the Russian army's successes are limited to "two kilometres gained here and taken back".
"The counter-offensive did not work the way we wanted it to, but that does not give Putin an advantage," the French defence minister said.
