On the night of 27 January, Russian troops shelled Slovyansk, Donetsk Region. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia struck the city with an Iskander-M missile.
"At night, the city was shelled again. An enemy missile hit a ceramic workshop. It was almost completely destroyed. The nearby high-rise buildings on Darvin Street and the kindergarten where the social canteen is located were damaged. The windows were smashed. Fortunately, there were no casualties," Vadym Lyakh, head of the city military administration, said.
