In the morning, the Russian army attacked a church in the Kupyansk district of Kharkiv Region. The shell hit a boiler room located next to the church, the State Emergency Service reported.
As a result of the explosion, it caught fire, and a room with firewood also caught fire. The fire covered 60 sq.m.
"Rescuers of the State Emergency Service did everything possible to prevent the fire from spreading to the church," the statement said. The explosions also damaged the village council building and two private houses. One person was injured.
"The strike was carried out this morning in Novooosynove of the Kurylivka community in Kupyansk district. The village is located near the contact line, so it is currently in the area of impact of Russian cannon and rocket artillery," the SES said.
