The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has allocated an additional UAH 5 billion for the Defence Forces. These funds are to be used to purchase drones, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
Drones are needed for defenders on the front line. He did not provide any other details.
"We continue to support the Ukrainian army in the fight against the Russian aggressor. Every hryvnya that comes to the state budget in the form of taxes will be used to strengthen our defence capabilities," Shmyhal assured.
- This year, UAH 225 billion has been allocated for the purchase of weapons for the army.
