On Monday night, the Russian army attacked a fire station in a border town in Kharkiv Region with rockets. There were 11 rescuers on duty there.
One person was injured - a rescue driver, the SES reported. He suffered a hand injury and was treated on the spot.
"As a result of the strike, the building of the fire station was damaged (windows, doors, gates were smashed, the roof and facade were damaged). In addition, four fire and rescue vehicles were damaged," the statement said.
