Russian occupiers have damaged the line supplying the Zaporizhzhya NPP, which has put the plant on the verge of blackout for the second time in 24 hours, Ukraine's Energy Ministry has said.
"For the second time in a day, the Zaporizhzhya NPP was left hanging on one power line. Last night, the 330 kV power line was de-energised due to shelling, which resulted in the shutdown of an additional power supply circuit of the plant," the ministry said.
As of the morning, the line was restored. ZNPP is being supplied with power in full.
The external overhead line of OHL-750kV Dniprovska was disconnected after shelling at 05:10. It was reported that ZNPP was on the verge of blackout.
