Specialists of the Defence Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine have attacked a plant for the production of Shahed attack drones in Tatarstan, Russia. RBC-Ukraine reports, citing unnamed sources in the special services.
The distance from Ukraine to Tatarstan is more than 1,000 kilometres. According to the journalists' source, the attack targeted a factory that assembles Shahed kamikaze drones, which Russians label as Heran-2.
"The source also added that the strike caused significant damage to production facilities," the journalists said.

Russia does not even deny the attack. Censor.net, citing Kremlin sources, writes that local authorities reported a drone attack in Tatarstan on businesses in Elabuga and Nizhnekamensk. However, the Russians traditionally deny the consequences - they say that "the technological process has not been disrupted". Local telegram channels reported that the drones also hit the Elaz Oil Refinery.
