During his visit to Kyiv, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg initiated the creation of a special €100 billion financial support fund for Ukrainian defence.
This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a joint briefing with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Kyiv, Ukrinform reports.
"Today we have discussed the initiative of Jens Fogh Rasmussen to create a special financial support fund for Ukrainian defence worth €100 billion for a period of five years," the President said.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Western allies have the opportunity to implement such an initiative, and he stressed that the details of implementing an important initiative are important for Ukraine.
"It is important that this is not at the expense of bilateral volumes, which are marked by our agreements on security guarantees," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.
