Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhaylo Fedorov presented the Ukrainian trench electronic warfare system Parasol.
‘Parasol is a trench electronic warfare system from a member of the Brave1 cluster. The developer has two modifications of the electronic warfare system: one protects positions from Russian drones, the other protects equipment from them. One of the key advantages of Parasol is that it is invisible to enemy electronic warfare systems,’ said Fedorov.
The first development, PARASOL 01, protects military positions by suppressing Russian FPV drones at a distance of 200 metres.
The second development, PARASOL 02, protects vehicles - it can be installed on them and connected to the on-board network, and drones are also jammed at a distance of 200 metres.
Other key advantages:
— Very easy to operate;
— It takes 10-15 minutes to learn how to use them.
The state has already signed contracts with the developer, MixSteel, and is purchasing two PARASOL modifications, and the Defence Forces are actively using them.
Fedorov reminded that before the full-scale war, Ukraine had not developed a single short-range electronic warfare system. Thanks to the systematic work of Brave1, this area has begun to develop, and today there are dozens of technological solutions that the state can purchase for the frontline.
‘In the area of electronic warfare, we have gone the same way as with drones: we launched the market, simplified procedures, ensured competition, and saw that it really works. Today, more than 100 developments are registered on the Brave1 platform, and 9 of them have already been codified according to NATO standards. And there will be more in the future. If you have your own development or are working on this track, join Brave1,’ Fedorov wrote.
