President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has awarded 465 more fallen defenders of Ukraine.
This is stated in decrees No. 255/2024 of 30 April and No. 256/2024 of 1 May 2024.
The defenders were awarded for their personal courage in the defence of Ukraine's state sovereignty and territorial integrity, and selfless performance of military duty.
The defenders were posthumously awarded the following awards: the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyy, III degree, the Order "For Courage", II degree, the Order "For Courage", III degree, the medal "For Military Service to Ukraine", and the medal "To the Defender of the Motherland".
