Air defence units of the Land Forces destroyed 446 air targets of the Russian occupation forces in July, and over the past week, air defence units eliminated 217 units of hostile Russian targets.
This was reported by the Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Pavlyuk.
He stressed that the Air Defence units of the Land Forces make a significant contribution to the protection of the skies over Ukraine and destroy a significant number of Russian enemy air targets: both in the rear and along the combat line.
Destroyed in July:
Su-25 aircraft - 3 units; X59/69 cruise missiles - 1 unit; X101/555 cruise missiles - 5 units.
Also 437 UAVs of various types:
Shahed-131/136 UAVs - 84 units; Orlan-10/30 UAVs - 14 units; Zala UAVs - 75 units; Lancet UAVs - 115 units; Supercam UAVs - 17 units; Privet-82 UAVs - 109 units; Lightning and unspecified UAVs - 23 units.
