On the night of 11 August, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 4 KN-23 ballistic missiles and 57 Shahed attack UAVs. Ukrainian air defence managed to destroy 53 Russian UAVs.
This was reported by Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk.
According to him, on the night of 11 August, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with four KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh Region and 57 Shahed drones from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Yeysk and Kursk (Russia).
The Russians also attacked the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk Region, allegedly with rocket artillery.
Regarding North Korean missiles, the Air Force commander clarified that KN-23 ballistic missiles, although rarely reaching their intended targets, pose a serious threat to the population.
