The fire on the territory of Zaporizhzhya NPP, which was started by Russians yesterday, has already stopped. The radiation level in the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk Region is normal, the head of the RMA, Serhiy Lysak, said on Telegram.

Nikopol is located on the other side of the Dnipro River from Enerhodar, which was seized by the Russians. Yesterday, Lysak said that a fire was reported from Nikopol on the territory of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.

Regarding the situation in Dnipropetrovsk Region, the head of the RMA said that the Russians shelled two districts with artillery at night.

"The enemy fired at the Nikopol community until midnight. They also hit it in the morning. There were hits in Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities.

Kryvyi Rih district was also hit.

"Fortunately, there were no casualties everywhere," he said.

  • According to unofficial information from the Ukrainian side, yesterday Russians set fire to a large number of car tyres in the cooling tower of the ZNPP. The President of Ukraine said he expected the IAEA and the world to react.
