According to the RMA, the injured include two doctors and two rescuers. The doctor is in serious condition.

The prosecutor's office said that, according to preliminary data, Russia attacked the regional centre with Iskander-M missiles. The speed of the missiles in the air reached about 6,000 km/h.

The head of the RMA noted that the operation to clear the rubble in the sports complex, where one of the missiles hit, is underway.

"There may still be people under the rubble, so search and rescue operations continue. One man, who works there as an electrician, was trapped in the rubble. He is now safe. At least 6 missiles were recorded near the sports complex, some of which hit the ground," Synyehubov said.

The Ministry of Energy said that one of the power facilities was hit.

"We are currently eliminating the consequences of the shelling. Information about the victims is being clarified," the ministry said.
