An explosion occurred in Kyiv on the morning of 8 September, partially destroying a two-storey building. This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko and the KCMA.
According to Klitschko, the explosion occurred in the Holosiyivskyy district of the capital on the territory of a motor transport company. The origin of the explosion is currently unknown.
"A two-storey building was partially destroyed. There is no fire. There may be people under the rubble. Emergency services are already working at the site," the mayor wrote.
Update. According to the KCMA, rescuers have unblocked another body. At this moment, three people are known to have died. The search and rescue operation continues.
