The son of the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine, Matityahu Samborskyy, was killed in the war.
This was announced by Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Reuven Azman.
"Tomorrow, the Central Synagogue will hold a farewell to my son Matityahu (Anton), who died at the front defending Ukraine," wrote Moshe Reuven Azman.
