Russian army strikes two settlements in Kharkiv Region, killing two people

On Friday, 20 September, the Russian army attacked the Zolochiv and Kupyansk districts of Kharkiv Region. Two people were killed and three injured.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Synyehubov.

‘Around 14:00, the occupiers fired mortar shells at the village of Ivashky in the Zolochiv community. As a result of seven hits, a man and a woman sustained moderate injuries, and another man sustained a light injury. A household and a car were damaged,’ the statement said.

Also, after 15:00, the Russian occupiers struck Kivsharivka in Kupyansk district.

Two civilians were reported dead - a 43-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman. At least two women were injured. 

Emergency services are working at the scene.
