The Russian army attacked Kyiv overnight. Air defenses were active, and a fire broke out in a five-story building in the Pechersk district, according to Serhiy Popko, head of the KCMA.
A gas pipe was damaged, and debris fell on a kindergarten, damaging cars and windows in nearby buildings. Initial reports of an injured child were not confirmed.
More than 15 drones targeted Kyiv, with air defence forces intercepting many during five hours of combat.
