At dawn on 26 September, Russia launched an air strike on the civilian infrastructure of the Yunakivska community in Sumy district. An elderly woman was killed.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office.
A 71-year-old pensioner died in her own home as a result of the Russian attack.
"Under the procedural guidance of the Sumy District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the prosecutor's office said.
