On the night of 27 September 2024, Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missile from the occupied Crimea and two X-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers from the Black Sea. Russian military also launched 32 Shahed attack drones (launch area: Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Russia).
This was reported by the Command of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Air defences were operating in Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolayiv and Odesa Regions.
As a result, 24 Shaheds were shot down. One drone entered the airspace of Romania, and another Russian drone was lost.
